    Best Batteries

    Hey guys,
I have a stock sv27 with upgraded prop and my batteries are from radio shack and i dont think are giving enough power to the boat.

I was wondering what batteries i could buy that would give me max speed without frying the ESC.

Tower Hobbies carries an expansive collection of RC cars, RC airplanes, RC boats, model trains, sot cars, and supplies for all hobbyists.

      Don't waste money on NiMh,

For 20 bucks, Turnigy 2S 5000 Mah 20C LiPos from Hobby City.

Once you go LiPo, you'll never go back. Less weight, more power,,,hang on!

I'm not the hugest fan of the ammo 2300. You can get the motor and keep your esc the same if you want, but since it seems you want buy a new esc anyways ul-1 power is by far the way to go on the SV. I love it. http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...=dh-aqcom-2030

SV and 45+Mph don't go hand in hand well.

You can reach the speed, but the water needs to be smooth or she will flip/ roll very easily.

I bought 2 of them, they work on my hyperion but did not work on my triton charger. I was looking to buy the same charger you have as a 5th charger. Can't go wrong with that price if it works. The charger they show in the demo seems to be the charger you have just under a different logo. Should work for you. Just read the instructions and you should be find.

alright sounds good I'll get that charger with the part that diesel linked.
Doby you suggested that the sv27 isn't great for speeds over 40 mph....how much would hulls cost that can achieve those speeds. I've always wanted to build my own boat and I got some money saved up so I'm sure I could buy all the parts.
