The Ammo 36-50-2300 is an upgraded motor that is just a plug & go in the stock system. You will notice a vast improvement in speed with it.

You will need to prop down a bit though. The Ammo needs to rev or it draws a lot of current.
X440 X637 or the Grim Racer 40mm X 52/3 blade all work well as a starting point.

Would a CF40 be ok with this motor?!?

Stock ESC, Ammo motor & Octura X642 run VERY well.
            ...ask me how I know.

I had an SV27 that ran the ammo on an X642. It ran great except for the inherent Sv27 issue of being "belly up" (which had nothing to do with the motor or prop because she spent the same amount of time on her back with the stock setup) Dirtysouth31 ran the SV with an ammo on an X445 with no issues.

Yep, the CF40 should work. But as I said in the previous post they are starting points. Work your way up. As you can see others are running bigger props.
An X637/3 blade is another good one.
I haven't got one, but I reckon an M640 would be pretty quick.
Anyone out there tried that one? Or maybe the M642?
                  Cheers.
                  Paul.

Its supposed to turn freely, unlike the stock motor. I just put one in my supervee and it rips! Got 46mph on octura 642 before it took flight!
