newbie in need of help please

fitted new motor to my sv 27 a ammo 2600kv and tryed it out but when i give it full power it sticks on full power and rudder turns fulley to the right basicly it is totaly out of my control what could be wrong any help would be great thankyou

Receiver interference. Ie good electrics close to bad electrics. I had the same problem. I locate the receiver in the back right hand corner of the boat ( after cutting down the radio box), making sure the areial is away from any other electrics.

thank you will give it a go thing is only started doing it since i fit new motor thought it may have something to do esc as it is std one and motor is ammo 2600kv

Depending upon the batteries you are using with the new engine will also have an impact. You may have to run a BEC or separate receiver pack if running 7 cell nimh or more. The standard BEC in the ESC carnt handle the extra volts of the bigger packs.

Yes, if your running 2 7 cell packs you must run a BEC.
