    How Fast are you running?

How fast are you running with the stock motor and esc on 4s? The only thing I did was two prop changes and grease the flex cable.

    I'll start:

Sweet, but what does that have to do with a stock motor and esc?

Did you mean a stock RTR boat and setup? If so, sorry, that is not what I read into your thread. There are those who hop up, modify, their motors and esc...... Anyway it will be fun to see the replies you get to your thread. By the way what are you running (boat, motor, esc) to get to 45MPH?

Everything in my boat is 100% stock and both props I tried are also straight out of the box with zero work. I'm running two 2s 5600 50c packs.

So no one else on here has made top speed runs with the stock motor and esc?

Since no one else posted, does that mean I have the fastest stock motor/esc Motley Crew? If not who can prove me wrong?

I broke 50 today :) and think there is more left in the boat all runs have been made with untouched props. No thinning or balancing yet

I went 58.8 today on the stock motor and esc. my goal is to get video footage and break 60 this coming weekend. Still running untouched props.

I would like to see some hardcore proof. I was testing a friends motley today with the stock set up and a balanced and sharpened prop. It was no where near 58.8mph. In fact I spent over 2 hours tunning his boat for him and the boat woke up with a 48mm prop (plastic for test purposes) and some 40 c packs on 4s. I have read your posts and you do not list anything except its stock. What batteries are you running? What is the angle of your strut? What is the COG of the boat? Where are your batteries placed? What untouched prop are you running? Just saying its stock with untouched props smells fishy. If it is in fact true, how about some real info on this as it would really be beneficial to other owners who spend a lot of time tunning their boats.

So how many times did you gps to verify the gps reading is correct?

Remember.. when using a GPS.. AND.. the boat blows off.. it will read the blow off speed NOT the on the water speed.

You can use a GPS but just keep this in mind..

Grimracer, do you have any testing data to share? Asking for data with stock motor and stock esc, any battery and prop data you've collected for this would be nice. :)

By the way... My stock Motley Crew with a pair of 2s 4500mAh 65c and GR 42x55 prop with positive strut angle and batteries to the rear is faster than a stock Blackjack 29 with a pair of 2s 4500mAh 35c and X440 and also x442 prop.

                            (THANK YOU!)
