Well I went down to the lake this morning to try out the new props.
They were bought at OSE (thanks Steven V) s/b by Dasboata (Awesome job!) and was Very happy with the results.
After a few 3 sec blasts I brought it in and checked temps. Esc was 100, motors were 90, batts were 95.
So in it went, I think I got about 8min run time but I didn't set the esc for the 11.2 batts.
Esc's temps were 125 to130, motors were 105 on back of can and bats were 105ish.
Top speed was 59.2 riding on the last part of the hull or less.
There was a little chop with wind so I couldn't hold full throttle for more than 4sec.
It covers a lot of realestate at those speeds.
On 4s I think it would achieve 70+ easy...may also puke esc's and or blow over at 70 and would not be pretty.
This is in a ekos cat w/twin leo's 2860/3400kv motors and 120a esc on 3s nano 45/90 lipos.
Also, On OSE's speed calc I had to drop the slippage down to 11% to get the 59mph.
Total prop pitch ratio was 1.4/42mm
Could that be that it's riding on the last part of the hull?
