          ive been thinking....twin 8XL's...well....the 35mph villain runs on a single 8XL....two of them...i dont know if this boat will be able to stay under control with that power behind it....i was thinking instead to just use a single motor...more practicle, probable still good speed....and ill save close to 200$ be just running it on a single motor....i was thinking...an 11XL on 16 cells sounds better....the only thing im worried about is because it will have a lot of tourque going through it, the flex cable may knot up between the transom and the outdrive, since there wont be anything there to stop that since the flex cable needs to turn with the outdrive....using a 3/16" flex cable may help this problem, but still...another thing is because the proshaft of the cable will have to be cut shorter, it will have to be re-threaded....
