brushless timing ?

Quick question about timing on the esc an where to set it for an kd 8l 3000kv brushless motor on an etti 150A

Also on a smaller 380 2850kv motor in on of my other boats
Both boats running 11.1v 3s lipo

Suggested Timing: 1° (2-4 poles motor) : 7° (6-8 poles motor) : 15° (10-14 poles motor) : 30° (10-14 poles motor)

any info on PWM for the motors
