              teach,

I bought this boat RTR. Ill put a radio, and new motor and esc in this hull,
Im already thinking of just taking the Feigao 12l out of my SV27 and using it on 4s
with an x442 prop. Should see 49-50mph im almost sure!

Any plans on sealing the hatch?

I was thinking of trying a sub hatch type set up. Having to seal up the large intake would kind of be a shame. The looks (I know it's just looks) is just awsome IMHO.

The only thing I was kind of blown away about the A-Z folks is they don't really believe in making the hulls water proof.

Does anyone know if this hull would take this setup?

                      Hey Guys,

I would have a really hard time justifying 170.00 bucks for a plastic boat. A H&M Spider or Twin wing cost around that much. The other boat they offer is an old Electric Thunder Design, I built one about 10 years ago.

                      Paul.

its not plastic....if you read a couple of posts up its a fiber glass composite with a High Impact Styrene shell
if it ain't broke you ain't trying hard enough.
if at first you don't sucsed maby failure is you thing.

                            You should run for president.

Your wrong, go look at the companies website. It clearly states the hull is made of plastic with fiberglass laid around the motor area to make it stronger.

Bottom line is it's vacuum formed plastic.

                            Paul.

I don't know that there is room in this hull for that setup. When I was looking at the boat and some hardware installation pictures I didn't think even a 4s 4000mah/UL-1 motor/esc setup would fit in the hull. The A-Z boys normally use a high KV motor and 3s power for their setups and my impression is from the photos is they just barely wedge that into the hull.

When I get home tonight I will see about posting some of the hardware install photos.

I have one of these boats, and yes two 4s packs will slide to the front and leave just enough room for the esc to lay on the batts,

                                Ill post pic's if needed.
