    Boat Article in German?

Anyone know how to convert a PDF from German to English?

A friend has emailed me an article that looks interesting, here is the link

I'm German and if you really want to convert it, be my guest but I'm guessing that the boat building forum will have everything you would want from this article. It mainly outlines how a beginner should aproch boat building and what has been proven to work, and the links and answers in the boat building section will do you one better. Good luck though if you really still want to convert it.
HK Genesis, DF Vortex, Baja 5T, Lazer ZX-5 sp, XXX, 8T, P51-D Mustang Shangrila, GP Giant P51-D Mustang, Blade 400 3D, with way too many more to list.

Yes, unless I'm doing something wrong it will not convert the PDF.

It takes time, you copy some of the German text, paste into the translator-it translates. Copy the translated to a Word file and start again.

yup... one can copy the text from the PDF into the translator, I have done it... unless the PDF is "flattened" as a ".jpg" or a ".tif"... then you need to type it in or find a German guy to translate...

Or use OCR for text recognition, in the case of a .jpg, .tif, .zip, etc.

When I get to work I will look to see if I have any tools for translation in the full version of acrobat.

Either find a translator with a lot of time on it's hands (not me!), or mail Henning and ask him is he's willing to translate his article.

As far as I know this generation of Germans tend to speak their languages.

                      Regards, Jan.

I'm sure its far from perfect, but it gets the point across. Maybe in your spare time you can translate it for us.
