Silent Fast electrics.

Well it has happened. Our fast electrics have been outlawed at the city park where we hold our club meetings. There have been some complaints that the ducks are all over the park, the kids are chasing them, and they are in the way of the joggers.
They say the ducks aren't in the water because they are afraid of the boats.:rolleyes:
I don't know about the rest of the country,but Ga. ducks will land right in the middle of the race course.:p

I am making arrangements for us to join the local gas/ nitro club so we have a place to run. Maybe this will lead to something bigger and better.

Silent for now but not for long,

Big thanks to the Atlanta Model Boaters

I just got off the phone with the Vice President of the Atlanta Model Boaters. They are a gas/nitro club, but Sunday they will have 6 Fast Electric members!!!

The hold their club races on Sundays which will leave Saturdays open for us.
They even offered up FE classes during their club races.:D
I'll post some picks of their lake and pits, these guys run a first class operation.

Man I had a pretty crappy couple of days. Now we can continue to grow our club.:D

Here are a few pics of our new SEBM fast electrics site!! A great big thank you to the Atlanta Model Boaters!!! Those guys were glad to see us today and treated us like we were old friends.
We will be meeting there on Saturdays, the Atlanta club meets on Sundays.

It sure felt good to be back in the throttle again!!!!!! Now we have to re-tune our boats. This is a 1/6th mile course,the straight aways are much longer than we have been running. We're going to have to tighten things up a bit.LOL

I'm sorry. NOT!! If it makes you feel better, I have to drive an hour opposed to the 15 min I used to.
It is private, and the best part is we didn't see a single duck.:D
