    How to fix massive leak?

I figured out what cause my esc and motor overheat in my sr80. I used a 1/4 stuffing tube with 3/16 teflon liner so I removed the teflon liner and no more overheat issue but now it has massive leak. I thought its in the rear so I put waterweld in the rear but still leak so I take a closer look and see water comes from the stuffing tube near the collet. How to fix this? Thanks.

You can cover the end of the brass stuffing tube with a small section of silicone cooling hose, or shrink wrap, to form a loose seal on the flex cable. That should limit some of the water coming in.

However, since you removed the teflon liner, the flex cable and rear of the stuffing tube are now exposed to water while running. You might try a similar fix on that end. I would use shrink wrap on that end. It will conform more closely to the shape of the flex, but should not cause too much friction if applied correctly.

Boat sunk a few hours ago. Tried to put more waterweld on the rear near the strut and stuffing tube and boat did wheelie and the hatch flew off then boat sunk in 1 second. I guess its full of water inside thats why it sunk so fast.
