Hi all built a Dunlap 1/8 crackerbox 24 inch length hull 6 yrs ago painted with Krylon rattle can paints . After 6 yrs of use paint is chipped and scratched i am thinking stripping back to bare wood and applying 1/16 mahogany veneer on decks and hull sides with 1 0z fiberglass cloth over the veneer and varnishing in natural wood . My question here is how much weight would i be adding to the hull ! Regards Andris Golts.
