Finish is good on both boats.

The Elam has a narrower tub and is 6 ounces lighter. I'm not saying that's good or bad, just some differences.

Hardware on both is nice, machined aluminum. The UL-1 has a one up on the adjustability of the strut.

RTR fans will like the strong magnetic hatch of the Elam, but I would still tape it shut. The UL-1 has a very well thought out hatch system that's easily taped shut.

Weather its "superior" or not remains to be seen, I agree that the radio is better and Mike surfing the forums is very helpful.

Perhaps Proboat should call their hardware "Pro-hardware" so it has a catchy name ,,its all made in China.

Get them on the water together and then an accurate determination can be made as to which is "superior". That would be fun to watch.

Yea since you already have a boat that looks like it and just because I got a UL-1.
