Hello,
I will soon receive the WLtoys WL912 and i plan to upgrade with direct drive, since stock it is using gears and replace motor, esc and use 3s as battery.
I believe that the FT012 would a nice candidate for donor parts:

Is that all i will need ? i would prefer to use a flexible drive shaft but i don't know which one will do
any suggestion recommendations on the parts i will need ? my main problem is the shaft and how to connect it to the motor, the electronics are not a problem i can sort them out
Also i can a spare 2440 brushless motor 4000kv can i use that on the boat ?
