This is a Suppo esc. If you hook everything up and the esc gets hot and motor not moving then esc is most likely dead. These are very cheap ESCs.

If you remove red radio wire and use separate radio battery, it may work but most likely dead.

        Hi,
Yes they are cheap and was my first ESC to try out.
The ESC go's in all programs and selections programs by the beeps and sound. i toke the UBEC off the cable and work with battery pack
i install a little Fan on top to keep him cool while i'm trying to program it.
So if you connect the batteries without turning the motor the ESC should stay cool?
if he should stay cold then Huston We Have A Problem !

The esc should not get hot while programming. Either the esc is bad or the motor may also be bad.

I would suggest getting a new esc.

            Hi
            thanks for your help .
I hope is not the motor, the motor is a brand new motor and been monitoring both for temperature.
I drove the boat 3 times and never more then 15minutes.
Maybe a month old, i think i got this by end of june and use 3 times.
i have order a Sowrdfish 220a, i have to wait and see now .
            Thanks Rayn

If you give more information about the boat and everything in it, you will get more help.

Make a stand for you esc so it doesn't sit where water can get it easy.

                Hi,
Yes my ESC is higher then the motor
but due to the boat turn upside down and water went in the boat.
