    CASTLE 2028 in a MHZ mystic 138

I was wondering if anyone has built a 138 mystic with a pair 2028 800kv motors? Or, a comparable hull? I found an old thread Aeromarine hull with pair of the the older motors in it, but that was it.

Scott(tiqueman) had done a twin 2028 one some time ago. Not sure if it was a MHZ or HPR but he did it. I think it faired well. A solid setup for sure. Mmm, come to think of it I think Chris had one too(MHZ) for a bit. He kinda went through them for a bit there.

I was just wondering if a pair of CC2028 would be a lot of power for a ~54" hull? Can't a pair of these motors power a 185cm/72" hull at decent speeds?

I remember this Thunderbolt doing over 60mph on a pair of smaller CC1717 motors and it's not much different in hull size.

It was my old cat, Redemption.

I think it worked ok and he was happy with it for what he wanted to do, but he was probably running 50mph slower than I was running when you saw Redemption Aaron. On 12s with a prop-up he could have went faster but I think he kept it fairly mild on 10s.
