Does somebody knows if Kintec racing is still in buisness?

I order from Kintec and OSE all the time, almost on a weekly basis since I run my boats almost every Sunday, so either I got to fix something or I want something to upgrade.

I've never had a problem with either that wasn't handled professionally and well. I'm thankful these two suppliers exists, because I don't think I could do what I do without them.

Know that we're all SUPER lucky to have vendors like Steven and Jan keeping us supplied with the performance goodies that fuel our hobby. Rember that keeping in stock today's "good stuff" before it's supplanted by the "next big thing" is a crap shoot with the likelihood that yesterday's stuff will gather dust (with costly, profit eating dead inventory losses- Feigao motors anyone?). NO ONE that I know of (and I know many in this industry) is getting rich doing this plus in the cases under discussion here it's more a "labor of love" than anything else. Steven does an admirable job especially with the "bread and butter" stuff PLUS maintaning the OSE forum (notwithstanding the often thankless but constant and excellent scrutiny of the moderators) and Jan always with his eye towards sourcing and offering lots of the latest trick goodies that serve a narrow demographic. Let us all take a deep breath, recognize how lucky we are in spite of occasional order glitches and exercise some patience, understanding, and not jump to any conclusions.

Well said Tony! Neither of these guys are getting rich, and even as much money as we spend individually on these boats we are still a very small part of the RC hobby world.

Sorry everyone, but is this thread about ''dishonests'' or ''disloyals''? I didn't start this thread to say that ''some seller'' bad or disloyal or dishonest or anything like that! I only asked a question. I know it's good to see all the positive feedback you gave, but im feeling that i've been misunderstood. i feel you all think i'm a bad customer... and that i wanted to BASH on Kinetic or OSE... That is absolutelly NOT the case here.

OSE has , as far back as I can remember been the anchor sponsor of the FE Nat's. In fairness 'tho I'd like to point out that Kintec Jan has also been a generous class and drawing prize giveaway sponsor of Winter Warmups going back many years as well

My last order with kintec was refunded after a month of placing it with now explanation as to why. All i did was ask the status of it and next thing i know itsbeen refunded. WTF?

I understand your frustration. I can only imagine the amount of emails he gets a day. I have people asking me all the time for his phone number and if I have another email address to get in touch with him....so I'm sure he gets flooded with emails. Here's what I think happened: you placed an order,his system didn't have an updated on hand so it let the order go through (very seldom does my order go through without kicking things out my cart if he doesn't have them). Then he realized he didn't have your items, ordered them in and planned on sending as soon as they got to him. Then after a month you email him, he checks into it and realizes he still doesn't have your items. Then he refunds you because there may be even more of a delay. In this case if suggest finding another vendor that carries the same items if your in a hurry. If you not in a hurry, reorder with him and send a note in the payment notes. He may not respond but he will read it. I sent him a note in a purchase the other day expressing that I really needed one of the parts in the order and if he could to please get it to me by the weekend. I offered to pay extra shipping. He 2 dayed it to me. Awesome of you ask me. Just know, sometimes your order is delayed because he's waiting on someone else to send him his order. He's like Steve, if he has it in stock, your getting it fast. The difference is ose store won't let you order if it's not in stock. Kintecs will sometimes.

I understand all that and emailed asking whythe refund and still no reply. Had he explained he was waiting on something, i would have been willing to wait too,as they weren't urgent parts.
