Rc boat dock/driver's stand pictures/ideas...

We are looking at setting up a local (KC area) lake for NAMBA club racing(ELECTRIC ONLY), on the KS side...The lake is approximately 700' x 500'.

If anyone has any pictures, designs, or input on the best way to build a dock/driver's stand post them or comment on your experience with these structures.

-Pros?
-Cons?
-Floating Dock?
-Land-Locked for stability?
-design types? (PIERS, NO PIERS, etc...)
