Revolt 30 water cooling question

Hi I just got a revolt 30 and I see this boat only has one cooling port on the rudder when it's turned the other way no water will come in has anybody tried drilling another hole on the other side to get cooling turning any way????

Don't worry - most boat rudders are built this way and they work great as is.

Fluid thanks for the reply I haven't seen any heat issues yet as my boat came with a bent shaft and stripped motor mount screws so I'm fixing that and tuning the strut n fins before it hits water
