    Awesome, thanks!

I had a TFL collet, I've got a Aeromarine coming it was deffinetly tight when I started. I had a retainer on the flex so I didn't lose it and you can see where the flex just spun in the collet then destroyed the collet and the end of the flex, I also went to the SF 240 pro plus ESC not the pro plus II the 240 pro plus is a data logger but it's just a little bigger than the SF 220 pro plus not like the huge 240 pro plus II.

Chris, are you still running this motor? I'm putting one in a Cheetah and was curious how yours was holding up.

Yes Joel, it's running great just a little over 65mph in my Carbon Fiber TFL Ariane Q Mono and that's set up heavy in oval trim with 6s 2p and a SF 240 Pro Plus ESC. There's more in it if I played with it, but 65 is fine for oval trim. I'm putting another one in the new MLBoatworks GP400 I just got, built by the master himself Mike.

What kv did you go with in your mono?

It seems TP no longer offers this motor in the 1770kv. Looks like the 1650kv is the new/closest kv they're offering. Would like to give it a go on 7-8s I'm curious how it will take some rpm.

I went with 1770kv and so far so good, the only issue I had was. I got three of these motors and two of them right out of the box the three grub screws that hold the back end bell were in too far and the end bell was slid back. So I just retapped the holes to 2.5mm and put some stainless allen pan head screws in place of the grub screws on all of the 4070s I got. I did contact TP and they said they were correcting this issue and offered to replace the motors I had at no cost to me. I told them I had already fixed my motors so it wasn't nessessary and they gave me a $50.00 credit towards my next purchase which I thought was awsome.
