I own a "Nemesis Blue XLT-4" motor that needs to be replaced. It is supposed to be a 2 hp @40,000 rpm motor that looks just like the Feigao that Steven sells. I would like to replace it with one from OSE but I don't know which wind would be about the same speed. Is anyone familiar with the Nemesis motor and if so which Feigao would be the closest to the XLT-4? Thanks in advance.
Nemesis = Feigao?

well XL-t4 is XL can turn=4 .... or a 4 turn also known as a 4XL.... which is basicly unheard of unless you get a hacker.... i dont think fieago makes a motor like that
what was the motor out of.. how many cells and what prop and what hull? -
The motor came as part of a Fine Design electric conversion kit for a gas truck. The motor has "XLT-4" etched on it (By hand). I can't find this motor on his website or anywhere else. I want to get a Feigao from Steven to replace it but I need to know how hot of a motor it is because the gearing can't be changed to accomodate different motors so I need a motor that is pretty close to this wind. I use it in a truck but I was hoping someone has knowledge of how these motors compare.Comment

I have read that the XLT-1 motor was equivalent to a 7XL Feigao if that helps.I purchased a XLT-4 motor from him years ago for my LST conversion but never found out exactly what wind it was ?? Maybe a 11XL....
Good Luck

losi LST with a marine esc? how does the brake work? normal brake rotors and pad on the drive shaft?
any how. sounds like it would be a hi wind motor. not sure on the gear ratio but i know my buddies traxxas conversion ran a 7XL on 4s through the trans.
find out the stock RPM of the nitro motor and then we can help you out even moreComment

It is pretty neat how the brake works it uses the original mechanical linkage so when you push the trigger forward to "reverse" the throttle servo actuates the brakes. The speed control has no brake function of course. I don't know the original rpm of the nitro motor but it probably is an apple and oranges comparision anyway. I think the Nemesis motor is a fairly high wind motor and thats what I am trying to determine.Comment

To avoid confusion I forgot to add that the reciever is wired to control both the speed control and the original throttle servo at the same time in order to provide braking.Comment
