Im doing a twin setup, and mounting 6.5" above transom, and lipos around 10-12" above transom. You can get away with a pretty good size prop. I'd go x445.

does it matter whether using single or twin as to where the cg is located?

A good starting point will be 30% of hulls length forward of the transom for CG. If a bit faster of a boat you move it up to 33-35%. Make sense?

I have the exact same setup for this summer. I'm starting with an x645 and a x447/3. I'm just waiting for the ice to melt. I saw a similar setup where the guy was getting in the 80's on the GPS. He said that the CG should be 13.25" from the rear. I plan on starting there. He was also running an x645. Search youtube for "genesis 4082" I found lots of helpful comments.

Im going X445 on my NEU 1521 1600kv 8S setup for my Daytona...I would really watch my amps on a 447/3...Ive tried 3 blades on several different cats with no luck...DJ
