HOR Racing. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep this is not good. I know there is another thread already or threads BUT this is no joke as I'm so annoyed

I have now placed 2 orders to HOR for mostly my 8th scale Hydro project of almost $500US between the 2 orders and have just recieved my 2nd order.

What's the problem you say.

First order arrived but missing the SSS 5694 800kv 6 pole brushless motor!!!!!!!!!

2nd order Arrived but missing the SSS motor still and now missing the motor mount kit for this.

So in total I'm out of pocket of $150 US plus postage cost...

He got back to me after my first question of where is my SSS 5694 motor saying I forgot to place the 1kg motor but sent the water cooling jacket!!!!

I replied ok send it with the 2nd order and I thought it was all ok but when the 2nd order arrived today there was still no motor and now the motor mount is missing from the 2nd order

I have sent him a e mail asking what is going on but no response yet. If I don't get a response within 24hrs I will have no choice other then open a pay pal dispute.

Never had these problems with all of my dealings in the past 10 years of being online. Can you open a dispute with part missing orders?? I have no invoice either from HOR.

Hi ordered something from him and it took my paypal money and did not show up in his order system. I am sure you can open a dispute with order not complete and enter the amount you are in dispute about

Man, you're having some bad luck.
I've never had a problem with him. Just delays if the items were not in stock.
I just placed another order with him yesterday.(items weren't in stock here at OSH). We'll see how that goes.
Threaten him with a Paypal dispute like you did the first time & he might respond again.

He did respond just a few hours ago saying sorry. The motor is in stock now but just waiting for the motor mount kit. Hopes to send it off by Wednesday he stated.

I understand that all items aren't going to be in stock but why not state out of stock like other good online shops. At least a little communication and I will be fine. Pretty sad really as I'm a new customer and my orders are over $200 each time which to me is a lot $$$.

Will keep you all posted.

Mark this subject was debated before in other threads and I'm part of the guys ripped by Hor......as your title says do not deal with companies that can't be trusted! Contact Monica at TFL if you need some parts! Gill

Well I ordered some drive shafts, servo mounts, & servo linkages on the 24/2/14 & they arrived yesterday. 7 days to Australia.

Frankly, I am surprised that HOR is able to continue to do business with Paypal given the number of claims that are filed against them.

This is one big project that we are doing and your help and advice is always appreciated. Don't worry I'm not a quitter but I get frustrated a little too quickly.

Yep looks like I have been screwed over by HOR.

Just opened 2 disputes for 3 items not been sent and no communication at all after he said it will be posted and countless e mails. I'm a new customer and spent $500 in 2 orders. Not a good way of treating a new customer. Simply disgusting.

most of the stuff hor sells he gets from tfl in china...tfl is a great company to get hulls etc from email monica at [email protected]

Well this just gets better & better.

PAY PAL has just informed me that I'm not getting a refund as I recieved the order even though it's missing a 1kg motor & mounting kit. & I haven't sent the other parts back because I used them . I even have e mails from HOR stating that he will send the Motor, Mount and Turn fins & a free gift for being so late.


I'm new to boats and need to use all the items I purchased as it made it more economical to order other parts that I need as well as the 56 motor & mount for my 8th Hydro project but obviously Pay Pal don't see any wrong by HOR. So i have been ripped of by just over $200.

Just unreal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't give upon paypal, keep at them. I am waiting for a response back from him on an order made 3 weeks ago. I felt I was taking a chance placing the order and I was correct. I never order anything I need in a hurry and have waited a long time for orders before. The item shown no stock now so I guess I am in the waiting boat. If he doesn't respond to my 2nd email I will go paypal. It's not surprising.no different than hobby king and some others. It's better odds than gambling but not by much!
