Pat at RC Lipos is in the Hospital

    Hi Everyone,
I wanted to let everyone know that Pat at RC Lipos has suffered a massive stroke and heart attack. As most of you know Pat has supported by donations a tremendous amount races and club events for over the past half a dozen years or so. He has also been that friendly voice over the phone at RC Lipos no matter what time of the day or night we contact him with our battery needs. Sadly Pat's medical condition is a serious one that Ron Upton had notified me about several weeks ago. I left some messages and an email and just received this reply from his wife. I thought I would just post it below let you all know his condition. Please keep Pat and his family in your prayers.
I am sure any kind words would also be appreciated and forwarded to Pat by his wife Michelle.
    Thanks, Ken

Ken, Hello, this is Pat's wife, Michelle. I am doing my best to keep things afloat here, thank you for your concern and prayers. Pat is still in the hospital, his recovery is going to take awhile as the stroke was massive and he also suffered a heart attack. If you could post, it would be greatly appreciated. Some customers are wonderfully understanding, while others can be quite impatient and irritable (understandably so). I don't want anyone to be upset and I am working hard to keep things going, however there is a lot of catch-up and I am not the powerhouse that Pat is. I also want people to understand that while we did push the pause button to collect ourselves and regroup, we are not at a complete standstill. Just going slower at the present time and doing things a bit differently. Thanks for your suggestions and help. Pat would be touched by all the caring and outpouring of positive words of support from everyone. Thank you again...

That"s too bad,. Pat is fantastic to work with and a fastastic person. He really does RC LIPOs as a side business from what I understand. I remember a while back him telling me about his first stoke and how he pulled through that so I hope he can do it again and make a full recovery.
Michelle good luck in keeping things afloat and don"t be worried about the impatient people....if they dont like it tell them to go somewhere else....you have enough on your plate to worry about. Good luck and tell Pat " Gary from Connecticut said hello and hope he is feeling better" .
