I have had good results with the wire drive, after I realigned the stuffing tube to motor and epoxied back together. It required me to remove the plastic tray which didnt come out nice. It know has a carbon fiber plate in its place. I chwnged servo position to do free up room. It has a 3800kv motor in it now. Next is 35 amp seaking esc, etc, etc. I had all parts on hand qnd would not hqve done it other wise. I still wonder why I bothered. align the wire, keep it lubed and setscrews secure qnd things wre good. It took the abuse of the 3800kx motor.

Are you running 2s or 3s with that motor?
