I dont understand 200amp esc burnt boat was dumas 7.5 hawk with 3660 3180kv 2 zippy compact 7.4 in series 5000mah prop prather 215 approx. 37 mm in dia.

Motor Kv is to High. 3180x14v=almost 44,520k rpm. (2200kv is about as high as you want to go.) 2.5 inches of pitch. In theory that gets you to almost 80mph. You are probably pulling 250 amps or more. Those Motors are only good for about 90amps.....You would need a 432 or 435 with that set-up. Still the controller would be working its butt off trying to keep up. You could run it in Parallel with that set-up and with that prop.
