Does anyone here have a suggestion as to how to prepare a set of motor leads for soldering? How do you go about stripping off the varnish insulation that is on them so that the solder will adhere?

Brake fluid - it may take a while but it will do the job without harming the insulation. Modelers have been doing this for years to strip paint off of plastic parts.IMPBA 20481S D-12Comment
