thanks for all the input. Ill be checking these out, after a quick glace today at some of the suggestions, here are some comments.

Some things are just to time consuming. For example, I have friends with sites and have issues with ratings and reviews. they send lots of time reading all of them for spam and competitors posting. Id love to, but I just dont have the time to do that.

Fella1340, Which out of stock items are taking to long to get? The point of the forum is not to over advertise. Far to many times I go to forums for info and get a headache with all the pictures and junk on them. As for the search, can you give an example?

Dave multiple language support is a good one.

Each comment needs a "like" button. Easy way to show that you agree with their comment, like on Facebook. Could call it an "Agree" button.

Hello Steve. I agree that over marketing on the forum is not good. I was thinking more along the lines of when
you get to your homepage you have a better sense that it is a store. I mention this because when I first started coming
here just a few months ago I didn't realize that there was a store. I was looking for the forum and it was the second
Tab in. And o more the forums I stayed until the guy a bought my boat from said that Steve at OSE was the only
place he bought his stuff when doing an electric boat. When you were asking for suggestions that was the first thing
I remembered. Once I went looking it was easy to find and now that I found it I wonder why I didn't see it sooner.
I may just be a little slow. The items I was saying that's were taking a long time to stock I had based on not having
Received a single email notification. I took the time to go through the store and see almost all are in stock. Could
it be the email notification is not working properly? You actually had most of what unwashed looking for in stock
a.few weeks back as that's when I placed my order. I find when using the search for engine I often get a lot of the s
same posts back even when they are quite different. Say searching go the "large mono hull build", I seem to get
posts that are most recent rather than based on search words. Same as when I searched "hv boat setups". Posts are
usually very recent or sometimes do not the even have the search words in them. I just realized I am talking about
the forum search.and your enquiry is about your store! If that's the case, sorry. I have never used you product
search engine. Well, that was a little off the mark! I'll stop now. If I haven't answered your other questions or you have more
Please just ask! Back to the email notification, would say I entered my email address on between 10-15 items with no reply

Back to the thing about finding the store. I ended up on the homepage on my first visit and book marked it.
I removed the book mark and searched OSE and once clicked on it took me to your store page, at this point I
feel stupid and withdraw all comments as the issues pointed out seem to be more issues with the user than
              anything else! Jeff

Jeff the notifications can be two things. Try adding ose to your safe senders list. the emails may be going into your spam box. Or a incorrect email address entered in the notification box. For example, I replied back to your email that you sent me yesterday, it was bounced back with an error. see below.

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

                [email protected]

                Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain live.com by mx4.hotmail.com. [65.55.92.168].

I looked up your correct email are resent it.

Hi Steve, as per the mail I sent last night. This (these) problems are defiantly on my end. This is where cutting edge
technology meets. Cave man. I will try and figure out what I have done and change it. Sorry for wasting
                  your time. Jeff

Never a waste of time. Its just a matter for figuring things out.

                      Steve, a couple of ideas:

+ Taking a cue from Amazon, I like the "People who bought this also bought...." I understand it would require some work but it would expose people to more of your products that they might not have known you had.

+ When I'm buying a part, it would be nice to what worked with it. For example, if I'm looking at a UL-1 motor there would be a list/link to of compatible products like 5mm collets, 3mm screws, 36mm motor mount replacement bearings, etc... If I'm looking at a Speedmaster21 Strut I could see replacement bushings, mounting hardware, flex cables, etc… that are compatible with that strut. This would be especially useful when ordering a boat hull, linking to compatible hardware for the hull size.

I agree with the guys who mentioned their lack preference for mobile sites. Amazon, Ebay, HK all try to force me to their partially functional mobile site.
If your store is going to do this, a link at the bottom to redirect to the full site would be great.

                      Thanks!

This is actually a very good point IMO. Several people new to the forum ask where they can get a particular item, perhaps one that was just suggested to them, and they don't even realize it's right under their nose. Perhaps even changing something like the "OSE Parts" icon to include the word "Store" or something, and maybe making it more prominent.....

It would also be nice if when you click on a link in a post and come back to OSE you would still show all the new posts, instead of showing that you have read ALL the new posts in this session.

                                hi,

                                more Idea :

For the twitter integration , you can add

-"Lastest Twitt's" Module (5 newer twitts)
                                -"number of followers"
