Flex shaft broken and stuck in tube

Just as the title says. The flex shaft on my impulse v2 broke and now I can't get it out of the tube.

Any ideas?

Hiya Raptor, do you mean the flexi is boogered up in the stuffing tube, & doesn't want to pull.out ?. I've seen that happen before on a friends apache cat. I used a rubber mallet & a wooden dowel & tapped it out....... :-P

Yes its all mangled inside the tube. I got the part that was attached to the coupler out but now the long part attached to the prop is stuck in the tube.

Havent tried this on the smaller stuff, but I had a 1/4" gasser shaft come undone and get jammed. I used an electric drill and locked it onto the shaft where the prop goes and spin it as if it were going to tighten the winds on the flex. It tightened it up and pulled out while spinning w/ a little effort.
