Motor timing for 1600 kv Leo 4082/ Sea King 180

I'm running a Leopard 4082, 1600 kv 4 pole motor with a Sea King 180a esc in my Sprint Cat and have programmed the esc for 6s.

After scouring the web, Ive seen anything from low timing up to around 15 degrees.

I have the program box, so changing the timing is no problem. Where should I set the timing for extended motor life and reduced heat? I'm currently turning a modified X448 and it pushes the Sprint Cat to 65-68 mph no problem.

I'm open to any suggestions you may have.

That is a y wind motor so needs medium timing, on the SK 180 set @ either 11.25 degrees or up to 15 degrees.
