Talk me about the Prather 32" Racing Tunnel

    Helllo all,

I think that you know much better this nice hull than french people.
Is a 6S setup good, and does this tunnel hull like high RPM? The motor is outboard mounted

    Thanks

Why don't you just post in the other 2 threads you already started about this boat?

well this is an old tunnel hull that worked good with .45 motor but it is heavy and I'm not sure if adapted to Fe would Worth the investment.Gill

Yes, an old design which was not that great of a racing hull when it was new. Would it work with 6S FE power? Probably a bit small on the small side for that, the 35" version would be a better 6S design. But if you get the hull for free it may be worth it for a sport boat.

May be old design but nice looking hull. And about rpm, the hull is easy with high or low RPM?

Normally RPM unload shoulbe near 35000, right?
40000 RPM unload is too muc? With a sùall prop

No, 35,000 rpm is not alright on an OB. Better to choose around 30,000 unloaded. This will put the rpm close to where it would be with a nitro motor, but you will have the torque to spin a larger prop or one with more pitch for more speed. You might want to consider using a lifting prop to keep that heavy boat up on top of the water.

Not sure what the deal is with you but you started another thread on this hull. Ignored all the advice you were given and said you ordered the motor I told you would not work. Now here you are again same boat, more questions. Where is the scorpion motor you said you bought for it ? If you already bought a 6s motor for it why are you asking if its a good 6s boat and why are you asking about rpm,s.
                        Stop wasting peoples time!!

You really take people for fools...

Have you started to drill one of your other "low cost" projects ?
Why don't you post your answer on french forum ? You are not banned yet...
You have choose the motor (Scorpion 1900Kv if I remember), and now you're asking about batteries ?
                          Not very logical approach...
Try 6S and make us report (if you can).

                          Cheer...

PS: When you insult me as on the other "forgotten" thread, translate it for our english speaking friends

yes, the joke is on us, I have been saying this for two years! But wait, I am sure there will be fantastic decals and stickers to follow, one has to admit, Alfa's hulls do look GOOD! I am into tunnels now, can't wait to see what theme will be applied to this tunnel.
I have long given up hopes to see any hardware mounted, I just focus on the LOOKS.
