I think if I had the $$ for a Neu 1515, I would choose the 1Y instead of the 2D. If I were to run a "D" wind, I'd run a TFL or TP Power 4074-4D 2200kv motor

Why would you go with the 1Y?

That is a killer price with the jacket. I'm just not sure how thrilled a Whip will be with that kind of power. Jimmies Whip is built extremely well. Mine is a do over.

I do have 1527/1D I could run but the thing is gigantic. I would have to perform open heart surgery on the boat to make it work.

James, the Y winds are a bit more speedo friendly.

Ok ill go with that then. I have decided i am going to run a swordfish 220 plus pro esc instead of the castle. Only downside is its from australia.

+1 on that... otherwise you will be pulling more amps than needed.

I wish the 150amp LV and HV ones were readily available.... not from Australia but, USA or China. Aus is too much for shipping.

If you do a fictitious order as a guest and add your zip code HOR will give you a shipping quote. Most likely between $10 and $15 but, that was a year ago when I got a pair for a project. Shipping may have increased since then... Shipping starts at $13~ but, they are not in stock it says right now... my bad, sorry...

$180 is not bad for the sf 220 pro plus, considering the only viable alternative is the cc hydra ice 240 which is $300
