Wit or witout liner

I didn't want to hijack the other thread so here is a poll sto see what everyone is using as a stuffing box.

Who's running with a liner and who is running without?

feel free to give opinions on why you run your boat this way.

My preference is to run without a liner on setups that won't require much strut adjustment. I think that the flex shaft running on hard brass will produce less friction than teflon. However, on some hydros I have had to be able to move the strut around quite a lot. Using a teflon liner makes this much easier.
