Need twin .150 shafts to 5mm stubs. Where do I buy one?

    Hey guys,

I have a twin 33" MHZ. I lost a shft with the prop and all. Who carries a .150 shaft with a 5mm stub? I can't find one anywhere. OSE was my first choice but they only offer ones with 3/16 stubs. Thanks for the help!

I can make you one if you give me total length and the prop shaft length. What are you doing for props? Do you need it turned down to 4mm or 3/16?

Good question Jeff. Is there a 5mm prop manufacturer out there I'm unaware of?

The MHZ drives use a ground 5mm shaft necked down to 3/16" on the prop end. The shafts I have are for 1/8" cables though not .150". I can measure if needed.

McMaster sells 5mm 316SS ground stock which machine nicely. 6112K38 part number.

Yes, I already stock 5mm SS shaft. I turn them to 3/16 for the prop stub for the Spartans I currently make.

Hey Vortech, last year I lost a wire drive in my Toysport Jolly Twin and Jeff Wohlt made me new ones! Fast service, excellant price and easy to do business with! My 2 cents!!!
