    hot leads

    ran my p spec hydro with ul1 motor castle 120 & 4s battery with cupped h10 prop
    speed 55+ 6 laps

    when i brought her in motor warm battery warm esc warm leads from battery to esc hot
    hot enough to melt pool noodle that was there for flotation
    any ideas???

          From my experience with props that big, the wires from the motor to ESC melt pool noodles easy (AQ60 esc). However, I've never had the batt wires get that hot?! What batts/gage wire on the batts are you running? Solder connections good on those connectors?

            My Whiplash Sport 20 hull was coming back after short runs with hot wires and connectors when I was running a 1p setup. After switching to 2p everything is much cooler.

              When the voltage drops in the pack the motor demands more amps making the wire and connectors hot.
