You get what you pay for and I use Tamiya rattle cans but as one member stated they are not cheap and buy the correct paint for your boat surface and prepare it well prior to painting...also flash times are critical ....as many know I am not a fan of clear coat.

Make sure to turn the can upside down when done using it and spray until no more paint comes out(5 seconds or so) that way you know the line is clear of paint and wont clog up. I hate it when I forget and sometimes a full can of paint is unusable.................but i usually get away with swapping the nozzles from another can LOL!!

No more than 3 Medium coats per day or it will stay soft.

Menards by far has the best selection of rattle paint, I would say everything rustolem makes.

I got a Can of Spraymax Clear Coat for my Mean Machine from my NAPA Store and the guy that sold it to me used it to touch up his car and said it work's really well is a 2 part Spray Can and you just push in on this thing on the bottom and it release's the second part inside the Can,I have also talked to a few guy's in my local area that paint Car's for a living and they said that this stuff is incredible, they all said it look's like it was Sprayed from a gun and lay's down really nice, the nozzle is also adjustable and can be made to spray Vertical or Horizontal.

If anyone is interested in checking this stuff out here's link.

Does anyone know if the Rust-Oleum Automotive Enamel as a clear coat would be ok to use over Krylon white?
