I seen that. I will have two boats soon with twin motors so this will work great. I asked about paypal and got this responce.

I bit the bullet and orderd one of these esc's. 280a good for up to 16s. I figured there is a bit of protection through the ali express and it was about half of the cost of some of the other hv esc's. But i didnt order the program box. I thought the price was way too high for that. Do the usb adapters work the same for all esc's? If so I can downlaod the firmware and set it up with my computer.

I thought of buying 10 at a time and selling them on ebay. I think they make the fightercat esc's, so what ever works with them should work for these. I asked about using paypal and was told that they are set up to use paypal.

Yes I believe they are the supplier for the fc's but i dont own one of thier boxes either and dont really want to pay retarded shipping to get one. I am hoping to be able to go the pc route.

You can try but I wouldn't hold your breath, John and I tried a Turnigy usb programmer with my swordfish and it was a no go, software wouldn't recognize what it was connected to, Swordfish software wouldn't see the programmer.
Not surprising as programmers are very chip and software independant, I built my own for atmel and pic micro-controllers years ago, rolled my own software for them as well. Linux command line based stuff.
Most of the reason I've stuck with sworfish esc's. didn't want to have a bin full of programmers. And I've had great luck with them after some waterproofing. Nothing against any other brand, I just started with the swordies and I'm cheap!

Unless they use the same adapter renamed I'd be very surprised if it works. Chances are the FC software won't even see the SF adapter unless they are the same.
If it works thats great, opens up another esc I can use with my programmer always in favor of that.

Have you received this ESC yet? I, and others would like to know. Carlcisneros tells me the fighter cat program box will work those, I bought one for around $34 shipped from FC.

Yes i recieved it yesterday. Its a freakin tank...lol. It came with the usb adapter as well. No issues with shipping. Roughly two weeks give or take. I'm still trying to sort out an issue with the firmware but hopefully i will get it working. If not I will need to try and find a used FC program box. There is no friggin way I plan to spend 40.00 for shipping from FC and since they dont seem interested in answering emails I will have to go elswhere. Not a huge hurry though as the boat isnt quite finished.

Was able to do a quick test. The esc is working fine. Def not DOA like other's i've ordered. Just need to get the programming sorted out. Def a good option for esc's since the aliexpress you dont actually release the payment until you have the item.

Now that I have tested it i will cut open the shrink wrap and remove one of the two huge ass water jackets. I will not be running mine anywhere near the rated output so I should be able to get by with one. I need to shave some weight of this thing. I didnt realize it was going to be so huge.
