I went wading through all the school calendars we Portland area guys. Anything starting before 6/18/2013 is a no go for us. We do appreciate you guys trying to accommodate our kids school schedules.

On the flip side, we do understand if there are date conflicts with other activities at the site. Lake Minden sees an awful lot of different events over the summer.

We are actively trying to work out a schedule that works for everyone. Kids education takes precedent.

Randy, despite being in some serious pain from health issues, put on, along with his crew, a terrific Nat's in 2008 at Lake Minden. Very NorCal laid-back good-vibes show. Time to repeat the show with all the suport he needs. Just sayin'....

Sorry for the delayed response, (camping) I'd love for you guys to be able to make it, I realize the west coast events are much easier for you guys up there to make geographically/logistically and it would be unfortunate for you guys to miss a race like this in your region. You guys contribute a strong element of game, so your attendance will be greatly taken into consideration when choosing a date.
I also think we should decide this soon, so I'll organize an executive board meeting with Randy later this week (Basically 2 guys covered in shop dust huddled around a large pizza lol!)

I know scheduling events is a balancing act. We all have different schedules and priorities. It certainly wouldn't be the first big race I missed because life got in the way. I missed 2 F5D world champs because of foreseen life events (one was grad school related the other was the birth of my daughter). If you can accommodate our schedules, we appreciate it. If not, we certainly understand.

I would love to make it out to this if I can get a couple of boats going to bring along!
Only way I would come though is if the other NW guys are able and the dates also work out in my schedule!

Need lots of pennies and testing and tuning if its going to happen!

With the announcement of the 2013 Nitro/Gas Nats running 7/6-7/13 2013 in Utah, maybe early June is the best date for the FE event. If the events are too close, we run the chance of losing a good chunk of the crossovers that helped make this years event such a success.

Late July or August would be brutal temp wise at Minden.

I'm not sure WHAT that date is gonna' be but dude, I Like the enthusiasm, and positive input lol!
Thought about you today, made a textbook pass with force. The group looked at me and said "That looked like a SAW pass", I said " That looked like a Brian style pass or somethin'"..

I like the crossovers too. Without them, I may not be able to race next weekend in Minden, not to mention my late signup..
Believe it or not, the crossovers are creating some immaculate game. Mark G is runnin' some P stuff, Tyler is goin' BIG FE, We've got Alfred running P up here as well as at least 5 other die hard gas guys you guys got Lohring givin' a care about FE, I don't really know what to say and shouldn't. I'm gonna' just let the fun develop, and sell its own story..
