    Prop question

OK, I have a 48" hull scale PT boat that I want to run in a non-scale manner (i.e, fast ). What would be the best props for this? I currently have some Graupner hydro props on it, but as these props normally run semi-submerged, are they the best props for fully submerged operation? I am also thinking I am going to have to redo the stuffing tubes, as right now they are straight tubes and as a result the prop shafts are at a severe negative angle, and I think the current thrust I am getting is keeping the boat from getting on plane easily. Would just putting the stuffing tubes at a zero angle be the best thing I could do, and do away with any concerns about prop differences? Thanks...Pete M

PS--little more info. I am running 3 Scorpion outrunners (3026 with Kv of 1100, I think--I will have to look when I get home). Graupner carbon 50mm props, 2 normal and 1 counter-rotating. Power is 12v.
