    Proboat 1500kv on 5s

Building a 34" cat (32" with 2" extension) and looking at running 2x 1500kv proboat motors on 5s turning m442s.
Cat is fairly large for a 34" being 14" wide. (similar dimensions to a sprint cat)
Looking for mid to upper 40s for 3-4 minutes if possible.
Would the turnigy 120a be ok for this setup ?

    Any thoughts suggestions welcome.

The T120 would be more than up to the task if you are going to run one for each motor....................right? Should hit 50 mph+
NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

        Yep definitely running 2 esc,s.
I have a brand new t180 but its fairly large (do have room enough for 2 in hull) thinking 2x t120s will take a lot less room and save a little weight

Just thought i would place the 180 in the hull and size it up. Plenty of room.
I thought Fluid once said something about using to big a speedy. Something to do with higher resistance. Could have this confused with something else as its been a couple years since i played with boats.

            T180's are overkill.....................the 120's are fine.

I like overkill. Plus if you decide to up the power in the future, you just need a motor swap and not motors plus esc's
