LA SAWs for April 4 thru 6th - Updates!

The LA SAWs start today... I know Brian is already there... as is Bill M. (Bill-SOCAL) Should be some interesting P-Sport and P-Hydro news coming by the end of the weekend, I suspect... And maybe Q-Sport as well?? I know Bill is working on T-Mono and T-Offshore... Maybe S as well...

Bill Oxidean is going to be there tomorrow going after the N stuff...

If anyone hears anything, please let us know! Let's get things pumped up around here!

Bill M. just talked with Brian...

P-Hydro went 113mph... Not sure if that's the two way or not...

P-Sport "stuck" in the 90s, but he's working on it....

      More as it comes in...

We had a great day. I am not certain on Brian's 113 either - single pass or 2-pass average. He'll be doing more tomorrow. It got very windy and rough today so there was not much being done. Except for an idiot with a big boat!!.

Did an official T-Offshore run of 66.77 mph with a single pass of 68.5. Going to try to better that tomorrow. T-Mono is safe!! Once we optimize for the T-Offshore we are going to play around with S-Offshore. Not a great motor for S (700 Kv), but since there is no current record, why not??

The Sniper did well in the heavy conditions and everyone thought the boat ran great.

If you are coming out tomorrow to run you MUST be there, be unloaded and have your car back in the lot by 8 AM. There is some other event there and we need to stay clear of them in the AM.

            Tomorrow will be fun!!

Copied from another Forum (Socal Bill):

Great day today. First the bad news, Brian smurfed the Whiplash pretty badly. The rudder failed and bent over and caused a nasty crash. Lots of repair work to be done. It was FLYING, in excess of 100, probably 105 when the rudder bent over and that was that. It was spectacular to say the least. Water is really HARD at 100 mph!!

His P Hydro was doing fine until he hit a fish/turtle/something. Put it out of action for a time and then it was too rough for it to run again. Sunday will be another day!!

I got the Sniper up to a two pass average of 76.94 to better the T-Offshore number I set yesterday by bit over 10 mph.

                  A very satisfying day.
