    Mono hull recommendations

    Hey guys,
Thinking about building a 32-33" mono hull with a Turnigy 180 speedo and Leopard 4074 or 4082. Stability and handling are more important than top end speed. What do you suggest?

The Delta Force hulls as well as the Insane Boats FE mono are very good candidates.
I am sure others will chime in here for some other good running hulls.

          Fastest : Cyberstorm 32 [edit - Rico 31 like Rum said - a rocket !)

Most stable (especially in racewater): Insane 34

          Best "all-around" : Titan 33

The Pursuit has a Cyberstorm bottom, btw. Good budget boat

Can't go wrong with any of these.

Thanks for the input. Guess I should have added the Rico 31 and the Insane 34 to the poll !

Yikes ! Like I said in my edit, these boats are ballastic when set up right like Rumdogs - Takes huevos grande to run wfo in the water in the vid. I remember at the '08 FE Nat's Ken Haines and Mike Martins Rico 31's coming out of turn two & eating up the front straightaway like they were shot out of a gun.

Here's a D19 P-Mono heat from last year: Tyler's yellow Cyberstorm (fastest but endo'd), Boyd's DF33 (had driveline probs), Naveed's Arowana (Cyber 32 bottom & underpowered), And Mark and my white Insane 34's. I won the race even after letting teammate Mark pass after he got a one-lap bouy-hit penalty (which didn't phase the hull). The Insane 34 and Ricos are extremely solidly built if hull integrity is a consideration. (Previous race my Cyber 32 split open like a banana after it stuffed.)

My boat is actually Mike Martins old boat. I've owned it longer than any other in my fleet.
