Need help to pick a motor!
Hi guys! So, I'm quite new to RC, but I wanted to build a boat from scratch. I'm almost done with the hull, which is made out of balsa, but I still need a motor. So what I have now is a 3S 1800 mAh Lipo, an 35A ESC, and a 3 mm thick shaft with 30 mm propeller mounted on it. Can someone suggest a motor for me?
I guess it has to be:
- Within 35A
- Shaft not less-thicker than 3.17 mm
- Under 200 grams
- Not so expensive
Also, is it okay if the motor shaft is thicker than my boat shaft, like 5 mm? And what kind of connector/coupler can I then use. I've only found motors with higher rate than 35A, and I don't want to replace motor or battery and spend much more money then necessary...
