    Buying SV27 Motor - Help?

I need to buy a motor for my SV27 build and could use some sound advice on the situation.

This is my first fast electric boat of any kind of quality. I've already started a build thread and have all of my parts ordered except for a motor. I don't need anything insanely fast, my buddy's sv27 with the older blue stock motor certainly seems fast enough for me. Of course, I wouldn't mind being able to go faster, but that won't be a concern for a long time.

The used hull I have came with a stock ESC, which I would like to use.
I bought Aquacraft's newer cooling jacket for their 36mm motors, and so I think I'd like to get either the 1800kv AQ motor or their 2030kv motor. Both seem more than adequate, and I know the cooling jacket will fit perfectly.

My question is, with a stock prop (as i'm going to start with that until I become a better driver), which motor would be best? What kinds of differences would i experience running each of them? And can either one be powered safely on 2 2s packs and the stock esc and propeller, or would the 2030kv maybe be a bit too much for the stock 45amp speed control?

Thank you for any information and help!
