Cleaning The Hull after ESC fire...

It was stinky and ugly when we got it out of the water...
GP73 was dissaspointed, upset, I could see it on his face... I know the feeling after loosing ESC and burning the hull, and on the top of that it was hit by another boat.... We have warned others there is dead boat but some just could not avoid it, not sure why///
Well it happens from time to time to all of us I am sure...
Check pictures for how this huull looks like after cleaning it with EASY OFF... All smell is allmost gone...
    Cheers
    Robert
    PS
It will be repaired and back on the water soon...

Looks great! Have you thought of removing the wood tray? Check Darin's pics in the Stiletto thread, looks like you can gain quite a bit of space in there for ESCs.

Looking forward to see the repairs on the hull and race around together.

I still don't understand how someone can run over a boat that has been sitting in the same spot for the past 2 laps.

But yesterday was just one of those days: I lost the Pursuit's flex shaft with the prop attached (TFL 40mm) and I had to wade in the pond because the boat was sinking pretty fast. I'm going to mount a 2 piece flex from now on in all my boats, I'm tired of losing props.

After all the OB run with a two piece system, I don't see why not using it in other boats.

I picked up that Stiletto from Diesel, I am setting it up now and hope to run it soon. Once I set it up to my liking, I'll post some vids.
