    PROP/ESC/Batt match

    Hi Folks,

It's been awhile but my son is old enough now to enjoy the build of a FE tunnel. I'm building a FE Tunnel out of stuff I already have an need to ensure he is really interested and need to be reminded how to estimate my ESC/BAT/PROP match.

    I have
    - 4200 XL Lehner Bushless
    - Master Navy 70 ESC (BEC)
    - 3700mah 2 Cell LiPo
    - PROP ???

I ran this combination on a 22" Tunnel with a x632 or x637 (its at the cottage so I don't remember). Ran strong, a little to hot for the boat but was a riot to drive. Motor and batteries were warm at the end of a run. Used it three years never burnt the ESC out so figured the combo was good.

I do not need the 26" tunnel to go as fast as the 22" did with the combination above. I know this motor may be a little to small for a 26" Tunnel, but was hoping I could go small enough on the prop pitch (with enough Diameter) to still have the thing run.

    Any constructive suggestions?

I know a 4S 1300 watt solution like the Leopard 4074 & SeaKing 180 Combo is an easy choice. But kids as they are may change their mind one month after he's run it.
