      Hi.

I have the 125A Hobbyking SS Boat ESC, it says that it will work with up to 7S, but if I plugin mor than a 4S LiPo nothing happens, if you read the reviews on hobbyking there are no one that have got it to work with more than 4S.

So don´t buy this unless you are going to run it on max 4S..

Unless you only plan to run outrunners on them, there are far better esc's for $20-$30 more.

The specs are also deceiving, they cannot run 200 amps continous in a boat, no way, at least not for long. Maybe a bit longer with an external cap bank, then there's MO money$$.

They were originally designed for outrunners in planes & helis, not boats, not inrunners though they do work to a degree.

For a whhile I swore by them until other better chinese esc's came to market but, back then it was either mortgage your house for a Castle (thats such and ironic statement!) or chance a stinky boat with a $50 esc.

I have a few stinkey boats since I can't get Eagle One products anymore...

I was running mine on 5S at below 160A, with an extra 2000uF of caps.
