    Power

    [QUOTE=FighterCat57;259237]
    25" x 8" wide.

The question is how to determine the correct weight and motor requirements. 1500watt? 2500watt?

    QUOTE]

I have basically the same thing, but it is 24" long. 36-50-2300 motor pushes it to mid 30's on about 350ish watts for sport running, but it is fun and cheap.

OK, I'll leave them to sell there. No need to establish any competition. I lose enough money already.

I might order a couple here and there for fun though. I might use a Genesis style strut/rudder and see how it does.

Anyone want a carbon fiber edition? That I can get. For about $150.

Yeah, I think that's what I'll do. I really don't want to carry any products that other guys are selling. It's not my style and I have no interest in price wars... So... Back to the carbon fiber...

          Worth $150 for the hull?
I'll have matching Carbon fiber battery trays and motor mounts. This could be good.
Given enough positive feedback, I'll make it happen.

Might be too much punch, I have that setup you mentioned in a DF33 copy (pursuit), like mentioned before a ammo2300, SV27 (R motor) would be nice for it, ul1 power. Leopard wise a 4060 1900kv or a 4065 1800kv, CC 1512 1800kv. JMO of course. I planned on getting one from jan at kintec and throwing ul power in it.

I've run several DF 25's with Neu 1515's and 1512's for N2 mono and offshore. If it's an accurate copy, that little hull handles a ton of power if it's set up right.

How true is the bottom on the sample? Even the DF hulls took some work to get really right.

              Factory carbon, but still polyester

It looks really straight to the eye, no warping or bulging, but I'm not sure how to tell if it's "true" though. This is from the same factory that supplies HOTR & Kinetec.

What's the deal with factory carbon? I'm not a composites expert by any means, so curious what to look for and what to avoid.

I'm considering doing a carbon fiber run of this hull or the longer "pursuit". They can also make carbon kevlar by request, so that's another option. Just a limited edition run if there's enough interest.

Hi Steveo, They are not legal for LSO as they do not have the required 1" of
freeboard. The only DF hull they use in our local club for LSO is the 33" version
from Delta Force or HOTR clones. Regards

How do you guys think this hull compares to a SV27 hull?

Like a sedan compared to a sports car, That hull is much better then a SV. It's a few inches shorter though.

They are always available from HOTR for $50 + shipping.

I might grab one and try twin 28mm outrunners....

Another Fantastic motor for this hull is the Typhoon 500 1800KV motor, really scoots, tons of torque on 4S and doesn't really get very hot.

I sold my DF25 but, I miss it alot! might need to grab one of these to fill the void!

I just wish i could get a different coulour besides white

                            Rather not paint...
