I think he said a week or 2 ago that he just placed an order, I know that the motors are pretty much made when ordered, the last motor I got had a production date that was 3 days before I received it so if Steven ordered them they will be here soon enough.

Sometimes you have to wait for the good stuff.


I think the fires in San Diego kinda put a kink in things as well

I placed the order, just waiting for them to send them. So far I have 1506 2d and 1509 1.5d. Considering that I ordered 40 motors, seeing 3 motors show up was disappointing. The 1515 seems like a popular size, so I put a priority on that one. Hopefully they will build them first.

Neu makes the best motors hands down.

Now with that said. Steve Neu is agaist the wall right now. He does not mass produce any of his motors. So each motor is built to order. And here lies the problem. His popularity has sky-rocketed. It used to be only two or three vendors and he was able to keep up with demand. Just in boat venders he has taken on the big three (Offshore, Fullers, BBY) and it will be tough for him. There are rumers of him also taking a contract with Castle for the Monster Maxx. We will see over time if he can meet the demand. His motors go all over the world. We in the FE boat world are the new BIG thing. I am willing to wait for one of his motors. TRUST me they are WORTH every penny.
