Before running my new Aeromarine Titan 29" (new for me as I bought it used) I have made several leak tests in the bath tube, first I have discovered a big leak from the wire drive shaft and it's described here:

Then I have sealed the screws that goes through the transom with hot glue because a little water was passing.

Then I have made a sub hatch with 1mm thick polycarbonate sheet and sealed with 3M yellow waterproof tape because I'm going to fix the hatch with a groove in front and with two screws on the back and seal only with tape the sub hatch.
The test is done with a pool of water on the sub hatch and no water was passing through.

The boat capsized in the water was dry inside after 5 minutes with this sub hatch and the hatch sealed with electrical tape.
